Departing for BVIs Monday

Everyone is getting excited. The storm has blown through and we are just waiting for the seas to settle down. Hopefully we will get midday early afternoon.

The forcast is that we will be sailing for the first 24 hours and then might have to motor sail to get across the gulf as the wind velocity drops.

Was able to check test transmission of the ssb radio with someone in Florida so we know that is working well.

You can follow the entire salty dawg fleets progress by going to saltydawgrally.org find the link to the map.

Boat update. Dana and where finishing boat projects and stowing all gear, while Whit was cooking up a storm so we had a couple of days meats ready to go.

Good luck boys. I’ll be watching you each day on my screen. For your info., we had snow here on the week-end. The ground is still white just north of the city.

Heard from Pam and Ron, Jones and Tracy you were in Bermuda. Hope all is well and you’ll be getting on your way south soon. Keep me posted, David. Luck –
