3 Hatches rebuilt
When I first moved onto the boat in April, I discovered that three of the deck hatches leaked. I covered them up for the time being. Eventually had to deal with the reality that they had to be rebuilt. While I was all game to take on the project myself, I was convinced that there is nothing worse than a leaking hatch. Time to pass the job onto a professional. Through my friend Bruce Forbes, I located Gurdail @ hammerhead solutions. They rebuilt the hatches in a week: new persplex and new rubbers installed, and they refurbished all the hinges. Bruce and Michelle came down to point breeze and helped reinstall them. They look fantastic and will hopefully stay dry no matter how much green water is rushing over them.
