Climbing the mast
Chris Sumpton took on the task of being winched up the mast to check the VHF connection. We are still trying to solve that problem. After cleaning the terminals, he was allowed back down. He did not think that was the issue so more problem solving tomorrow.

September 23, 2014Good to hear you are on way. Lot of the time those soldered or unsoldered vhf connections are suspect – Ken and Lynn taught the ROC at qcyc and mentioned they needed to be checked for corrosion – much like battery terminals = other than that how about a pinched cable when doing the pedestal or something.
